What I liked: Colorful exterior Water-resistant shell Tons of pockets and multiple compartments to keep items separated Opens flat for easy packing Works as a carry-on for most flights Can hold a long weekend's worth of clothing and gear What I didn't like: Too big to be a personal item The soft sides aren't ideal for anything breakable Can get heavy when packed full, even with padding and support The waist belt is too short The bottom line: Is it worth $200

and waist straps work with the air mesh back panel to support a more comfortable carry on the trail
